These multi purpose tongs from Tanabe Kanagu are designed for frying, sauteing, plating, and serving, and work well for pasta and at the table. A one touch stopper locks the tongs closed with one hand, simply by pressing them straight shut, and releases just as easily by sliding one side while pressing lightly, so they take up less space when stored in a drawer.
A patented handle design keeps the grip opening compact, making the tongs easy to use for anyone, including women and children, while a specially treated spring section gives a firm, comfortable hold that will not tire your hand during long use. The nylon tips will not scratch non stick coated pots and hot plates, and are heat resistant up to 240°C (464°F).
The one piece molded body has no metal fasteners, leaving no gaps, so it is easy to clean. These tongs are dishwasher safe and made in Japan.
