This tempura pot (deep fryer) from Tanabe Kanagu is made of nitrided iron, a heat treatment that infuses nitrogen into the iron to strengthen its surface. Nitrided iron resists warping, scratching, rust, and sticking, and because the iron itself is transformed rather than coated, the surface will not flake off with use. Once the pot has been through an initial oil seasoning, it is ready for regular use.
The thick bottom conducts heat evenly, which helps the batter fry up light and crisp. Each pot comes with a half-moon frying rack in chrome-plated iron, and the handle is iron with a silicone coating. It works on all heat sources, including induction (IH).
This tempura pot is offered in two sizes, so you can choose the one that fits your cooking needs.
This pot carries the Made in Tsubame mark, which promises that the product was carefully made with the customer in mind, for quality and peace of mind.
