Tanabe Kanagu Noodle Tongs Red 2358

These noodle tongs have a wavy tip that closes without any gap, so they grip pasta, somen, udon, and soba firmly instead of letting strands slip through. A patented handle design keeps the grip opening compact, and a specially processed spring section adds strong elasticity, so the tongs stay comfortable to hold during long use and are easy for women and children to handle.

The tips are nylon rather than stainless steel, so they will not scratch hot plates or pots with a nonstick coating, and they are heat resistant up to 240 degrees Celsius (464 degrees Fahrenheit). The tongs are molded as one piece with no metal fittings and no gaps, which keeps them easy to clean. They also stand with the tip raised when set down, keeping it off the counter. Measuring 250 mm (9.8 in) long and 2.0 mm (0.1 in) thick, they weigh about 76 g (2.7 oz / 0.17 lb).
