Taniguchi Metal IH Compatible Oyako Nabe (Parent-Child Pot) 17cm

This is a renewed Wa no Shokunin oyako nabe, an aluminum pot used for oyakodon and other quick simmered dishes, in the 17 cm (6.7 in) size. Made in Japan, it works on induction (IH) and gas burners as well as other heat sources.

Compared with the previous version, the plate thickness has been increased by 20 to 35 percent, to about 1.5 mm (0.1 in), which helps heat spread more evenly for gentler, more consistent cooking.

The pot measures about 22.2 x 18.6 x 17.2 cm (8.7 x 7.3 x 6.8 in) and weighs approximately 209 g (7.4 oz).
