Tanita Digital Cooking Thermometer TT-508

The Tanita TT-508 is a digital cooking thermometer that shows the temperature of food at a glance. It is designed to make it easy to check internal temperatures that are otherwise hard to judge, including doneness during cooking and the temperature of food while freezing or thawing.

Color coding the thermometer by food item helps keep track of safe cooking temperatures in the kitchen, and the same temperature readout is also handy for monitoring aquariums or simple experiments. The thermometer is waterproof, so it can be rinsed clean after use.

A hold function lets you check the last reading even after moving the probe away from the food, and the sensor holder doubles as a handle for easier use. The thermometer turns itself off automatically after about 10 minutes to save battery.

This thermometer is available in Blue, Green, Red, and Yellow.
