The Thermos KKB-S165 Gran Edge is an upgraded, all-stainless-steel santoku knife with a 165 mm (6.5 in) blade, built for an edge that stays sharp longer. The blade is made from molybdenum-vanadium stainless steel with a hardening heat treatment, using Japanese blade steel.

Like the Fine Edge series, the blade and handle form a single, seamless piece of stainless steel, so there is no gap where food or moisture can collect, making it easier to keep clean. The knife is dishwasher safe for convenient cleanup.
