This Thermos KBJ-4502 Shuttle Chef is a vacuum insulated cooker with a ceramic-coated inner pot called the Cera Protect Coat, designed for high hardness and scratch resistance.

Bring food to a boil on the stovetop in the inner pot, then place the pot inside the vacuum insulated outer shell, where residual heat continues the simmering process off the heat. Once cooking is finished, the sealed outer shell can also be used to keep food warm. This cooking method saves energy while drawing out the flavor of the ingredients.

The cooker has a 4.3 L (4.5 qt) capacity and measures about 30 x 24 x 24 cm (11.8 x 9.4 x 9.4 in).
