This cake ring from Tiger Crown's Albrit series is made of aluminum with a double coat of fluorine resin nonstick coating and a melamine resin handle.
Aluminum conducts heat quickly and evenly, stays lightweight, and resists rust, while the nonstick coating lets cakes and other desserts release cleanly and makes the ring easy to wash. It works well for both baked treats and for desserts that are chilled and set directly in the ring.
