This is a Kansai style tamagoyaki pan made of pure copper, a metal valued for its excellent heat conductivity. The cooking surface is lined with a tin plating over the copper base, giving it the gentle, even heat that makes it well suited for rolling neat, evenly shaped Japanese omelets. This pan is offered in a range of sizes from 10.5 cm to 30 cm, so you can choose the one that fits your stove and the amount of egg you like to cook.
Copper is sensitive to moisture and chlorine, so the pan should be dried promptly after washing and kept away from chlorine based cleaners to help protect the tin lining and copper surface.
Because each pan goes through a hand finishing process, minor surface marks or slight variations in color may appear; these do not affect the pan's quality or cooking performance.
Made in Japan.
