Tojiro Kitchen Bijou Lip Peeler Rose FC-671

This lip peeler from Fuji Cutlery's Kitchen Bijou line is a vertical peeler shaped like a lipstick tube, and it works the same way: twist the barrel to extend the blade before peeling. Held like a small knife, it lets you peel fruits and vegetables to an even thickness.

With the blade retracted, the tip of the peeler doubles as a sprout remover. Because the blade folds away into the body, it is safe to handle and stores in a compact size of 10 x 2.3 x 1.8 cm (3.9 x 0.9 x 0.7 in), weighing just 22 g (0.8 oz). The peeler can be taken apart for thorough washing, which keeps it hygienic to use.
