Even the same sake can taste different depending on the shape of the glass it is served in. This Sarari glass is one of three shapes designed to highlight a different side of sake's character, whether a light, crisp taste, a fuller aroma, or a smooth finish.
It is sized to hold about 90 ml (3 fl oz), a fitting amount for a half-go serving of Japanese sake. The glass itself measures 8.1 x 6.8 x 6.8 cm (3.2 x 2.7 x 2.7 in) and weighs 140 g (4.9 oz / 0.31 lb).
