Toyo-Sasaki Glass Shizunami Wash Bowl 13.6cm

The Shizunami series pairs clear glass with a gentle rippled relief pattern inspired by calm waves on water. The delicate texture creates soft shadows that highlight the food served in it, and the bowl works well for both Japanese and Western-style dishes.

This wash bowl is part of a larger Shizunami lineup that also includes a small bowl (Nozoki), a small dish (Kozuke), a serving dish (Mukouzuke), a medium bowl, and a deep plate, so pieces can be chosen to match the dish being served.

It measures 13.6 x 13.6 x 6 cm (5.4 x 5.4 x 2.4 in) and weighs about 320 g (11.3 oz / 0.71 lb). Made of soda-lime glass (Fine Clear) in Japan.
