The Shofuku Fujimi Sakura sake cup from Toyo-Sasaki Glass is a small glass cup for drinking Japanese sake, made from semi-lead crystal glass. It is part of the Shofuku series, a design meant to invite good fortune.
A cherry blossom is set into the bottom of the cup, so it appears to float on the surface once sake is poured in. Turn the empty cup upside down and the silhouette of Mount Fuji appears, an auspicious design.
The cup holds 90 ml (3.0 fl oz), weighs 110 g (3.9 oz), and comes in a package measuring about 8.4 x 8.4 x 5.4 cm (3.3 x 3.3 x 2.1 in). It is made in Japan.
