This sake cup is part of Toyo-Sasaki Glass's Wamon series, which brings together traditional Japanese patterns cherished since ancient times. It pairs a sakura (cherry blossom) motif with the asanoha hemp leaf pattern. Cherry blossoms are associated with the arrival of spring and new beginnings, and because the flowers bloom all at once, they are also linked to abundance and prosperity.
We offer this cup in three shapes: Footed, Elongated, and Wide Mouth, so you can choose the style that suits you best.
Each cup is made of soda-lime glass (Fine Clear) with a gold decorated finish and comes in its own gift box, making it a nice choice for everyday use or as a small present.
Because of the gold decoration, these cups should not be washed in a dishwasher, and since the glass is not heat resistant, they should not be used in a microwave. Made in Japan.
