This handmade rocks glass belongs to the Yachiyo Kiriko cut-glass tradition, born in the Yachiyo kilns of Japan's former Shimousa region, where skilled artisans combine traditional cutting techniques with newer design sensibilities. The Wachigai (interlocking circles) pattern is cut into deep black glass, and the faceted cuts reveal glimpses of gold leaf beneath the surface for a rich, refined look.

The glass measures 9 x 8.2 x 8.2 cm (3.5 x 3.2 x 3.2 in) and holds 255 ml (8.6 fl oz), weighing 305 g (10.8 oz). It comes in a dedicated wooden case, making it ready for gift giving.
