Toyo-Sasaki Glass Yachiyo Kiriko On the Rocks Glass Taku no Kumi

The Yachiyo Kiriko cut-glass tradition comes from the Yachiyo kilns in the old Shimofusa region, where generations of skilled artisans have paired traditional technique with a modern sensibility. This On the Rocks glass, from the Taku no Kumi group, is finished in a deep sumi (ink-black) color, with gold leaf showing through the cut facets for a rich look.

Made of crystal glass, it measures 9 x 8.2 x 8.2 cm (3.5 x 3.2 x 3.2 in), holds 255 ml (8.6 fl oz), and weighs 305 g (10.8 oz). It comes in a dedicated wooden presentation box, making it a nice gift. As each piece is handmade, slight differences in shape, size, weight, capacity, and color blending can occur. Made in Japan.
