This mini saucepan is sized for small-batch cooking, such as melting butter or making a small amount of sauce. It is the 5 cm (2 in) size in the Wadasuke Petite Pan series, with a capacity of about 50 ml (1.7 fl oz), and recreates professional-grade cookware in a compact, tabletop-friendly scale.

The body is made of anodized stainless steel that resists rust, scratches and damage, and the handle is brass. Wadasuke, founded in 1923, has been making professional metal cookware and tableware in Japan ever since.
