Wadasuke is a Japanese cookware maker founded in 1923, known for simple, durable commercial-grade metal kitchenware designed to meet the needs of professional kitchens.
This tin-lined copper saucepan is part of Wadasuke's petit pan series, which recreates commercial-size cookware in a smaller, table-friendly format. Its compact size is convenient for melting butter or making a small amount of sauce.
The long handle is well balanced and easy to hold, which makes tilting and pouring the pan more stable and also keeps your hand farther from the heat. Copper has very high heat conductivity, so heat spreads through the pan quickly and evenly, and it also retains heat well for slow, gentle cooking.
This saucepan is offered in three sizes, 9 cm, 10 cm, and 12 cm. Because the interior has a tin-lined finish, avoid using metal scouring pads and do not let the pan boil dry.
