This petite oval frying pan from Wadasuke, a Japanese maker of commercial cookware founded in 1923, recreates the brand's larger professional pans in a small format.
The copper body heats quickly and evenly, and it holds heat well for gentle, slow cooking. It suits small portions such as a quick saute, a small amount of pan fried food, or a sauce, and its size also makes it a nice piece to serve food directly at the table.
The interior has a hand applied tin lining. Do not clean it with metal scouring pads or let the pan heat empty without food or liquid inside, since this can damage the tin lining.
This pan is available in two sizes: 10 cm and 12 cm.
