Wadasuke Tin Lined Copper Petite Pan with Pour Spout 9cm 2505-0090

This copper petite saucepan with a pour spout is made by Wadasuke, a Japanese maker of professional metal kitchenware since its founding in 1923. Scaled down from the company's commercial cookware, it is a small one-handed pan designed for cooking in small amounts. The 9 cm (3.5 in) pan holds about 280 ml (9.5 fl oz), which makes it convenient for melting butter or preparing a small batch of sauce.

The built-in pour spout lets you pour liquid cleanly without dripping down the side of the pan. Copper conducts heat very quickly, so heat spreads through the pan right away, and it also retains heat well, which suits slow, gentle cooking. Because the interior is tin lined, avoid scrubbing it with a metal scouring pad and do not heat the pan when it is empty.
