Wahei Freiz Chitose Molybdenum Vanadium Steel Japanese Knife Set of 2 CS-059

Part of the Chitose series, cookware meant to become a trusted part of the kitchen the more it is used, this set brings together two Japanese-style knives for everyday cooking.

Both blades are molybdenum vanadium steel, which resists rust and holds a sharp edge, paired with natural wood handles that feel comfortable in the hand and develop more character with use and care over time.

The set includes an all-purpose knife with a 155 mm (6.1 in) blade and a vegetable knife with the same 155 mm (6.1 in) blade length, each with an overall length of about 290 mm (11.4 in).

Together the two knives weigh about 400 g (14.1 oz / 0.88 lb), and the set measures about 34 x 15 x 2.8 cm (13.4 x 5.9 x 1.1 in).
