This stainless steel two-handled pot comes from the Chitose series by Wahei Freiz, featuring plain wood handles and a matching wood lid knob. Each pot is crafted by artisans in Tsubame, Niigata, and finished with a satin, matte texture.
We like the simple build. There are no unnecessary ridges or recesses, so it is easy to wash, and the matte body helps hide scratches from daily use.
It works on both gas stoves and induction (IH) cooktops, making it a good choice for miso soup, simmered dishes, and curry. Made in Japan.
This pot is offered in a Standard 20 cm size and a Deep 22 cm size.
