This deep tempura fryer pot is made in Tsubame-Sanjo, Niigata, as part of the Tsubamesan series that continues the craft heritage of the blacksmiths who helped build Tsubame into Japan's leading housewares-producing region.

The pot is made of iron with a silicone resin coating and comes with a chrome-plated iron draining rack, made for deep-frying tempura and other fried foods.

It measures 27.5 x 20 x 12 cm (10.8 x 7.9 x 4.7 in), weighs 1.2 kg (2.6 lb), and holds 2.2 liters (2.3 qt). It is induction (IH) compatible and made in Japan.
