The pan wall is neither too thick nor too thin, which helps heat reach food evenly, and the rounded bottom is shaped to simmer ingredients gently. The handle is resin, so it stays cool to hold even while the pan is on the heat, and it works on both gas stovetops and induction (IH) cooktops.
