This bamboo seiro steamer basket set lets natural ingredients shine, as steaming draws out the sweetness of vegetables and leaves meat and fish moist and tender. The bamboo's natural moisture absorption helps keep steamed food from turning soggy.
It is sized to steam up to 750 g (26.5 oz / 1.65 lb) of sticky rice, about 5 go. Rather than placing food directly on the basket, line it with parchment paper or a steaming cloth before adding ingredients. Its natural bamboo appearance also looks nice brought straight to the table.
The set measures 25.5 x 25.5 x 12 cm (10 x 10 x 4.7 in) and weighs 530 g (18.7 oz / 1.17 lb). Both the basket and lid are made of bamboo.
