This two-tier steamer pot from the hokona line is made of lightweight, easy to handle aluminum. Aluminum conducts heat well, so steaming times are shorter than with natural-material steamers such as bamboo. A glass lid lets you keep an eye on your food as it cooks.
The pot holds 3.6 liters (3.8 quarts) of water, giving you plenty of room to steam a full batch of food at once. Its shape is easy to wash, and it works well across a range of ingredients, including vegetables, meat, fish, and dim sum, with little odor transfer between foods.
