This steamer rack sits inside your own pot or frying pan to turn it into a steamer, so you do not need a separate steaming pot. It is designed to fit pots in the 16 to 20 cm (6.3 to 7.9 in) range.
The rack measures 21.5 x 21.5 x 8.5 cm (8.5 x 8.5 x 3.3 in) and weighs about 430 g (15.2 oz / 0.95 lb). Its extra height leaves room for taller foods such as chawanmushi, steamed vegetables, or buns.
The surface has a fluororesin coating inside and out, which resists sticking and is easy to clean. This rack does not come with a lid; use the lid from your own pot.
