This steamer rack sits inside your own pot or frying pan to turn it into a steamer, so you do not need a separate steaming pot. It is designed to fit pots in the 20 to 24 cm (7.9 to 9.4 in) range.
The rack measures 25.5 x 25.5 x 8.4 cm (10 x 10 x 3.3 in) and weighs about 550 g (19.4 oz / 1.21 lb). Its extra height leaves room for taller foods such as chawanmushi, steamed vegetables, or buns.
The surface has a fluororesin coating inside and out, which resists sticking and is easy to clean. This rack does not come with a lid; use the lid from your own pot.
