This turner is designed for mini tamagoyaki (Japanese rolled omelet) pans about 12 cm (4.7 in) wide. Its width is shaped to fit snugly inside the pan, which helps the omelet hold its shape as it rolls, making it easier to form a neat, evenly cooked roll. When set down on a counter or table, the tip stays lifted off the surface, keeping it clean between uses.
It is made of nylon that is gentle on non-stick coatings and safe to use on fluorine-coated pans. After cooking, it can be washed in the dishwasher for easy cleanup, making it a handy tool for everyday breakfast and bento preparation.
