This wide-mouth kettle is made of durable, rust-resistant 18-8 stainless steel and works on both gas stovetops and induction (IH) cooktops. It is a simple, easy-to-use kettle that is great for brewing barley tea or boiling water for instant ramen.
The interior has no seam where the body meets the spout, so there is no crevice for dirt to collect, keeping it easy to keep clean. The wide mouth is large enough to fit a hand inside for washing, and regular cleaning after each use helps prevent mineral scale from building up.
Water level markings on the side let you check that you are filling it to a safe amount before heating.
The kettle measures about 21.3 x 20.3 x 13.7 cm (8.4 x 8 x 5.4 in) and weighs about 430 g (15.2 oz / 0.95 lb). Full capacity is 1.5 liters (1.6 qt), with a recommended fill level of 900 ml (30.4 fl oz).
