This pot from the Stain Star series holds heat well, making it well suited for soups and stews that benefit from slow, gentle simmering. Its base is a pressure-bonded three-layer aluminum structure that heats evenly with little hot-spotting and resists warping over time. The interior has a fluororesin non-stick coating that resists sticking and wear, and metal ladles are safe to use.
The glass lid lets you watch the food as it cooks and has its own stand, so you are not left looking for somewhere to set it down. This 20 cm (7.9 in) pot can be used on both gas burners and induction (IH) cooktops, and holds up to 3.2 liters (3.4 qt) when filled to the brim.
