The stainless steel body has a fluororesin coated interior, and the base is a pressure bonded three layer aluminum structure that heats evenly with little hot spotting and resists warping over time.
The fluororesin non stick coating resists sticking and wear, so metal ladles are safe to use. The lid is tempered glass set in a phenolic resin frame, letting you watch the food as it cooks, and it comes with its own stand so you are not left looking for somewhere to set it down while cooking.
