This 14 cm (5.5 in) stainless steel colander is handy for washing and draining finely chopped vegetables and fruit. The rim has no seams, so it is easy to clean, and the colander stands on small feet so it can drain on its own without tipping.
Nest it inside a bowl when rinsing food in water, letting the colander catch solids while water passes through to the bowl below. It measures about 12.1 x 9 x 8.7 cm (4.8 x 3.5 x 3.4 in) and weighs about 130 g (4.6 oz / 0.29 lb), and it is designed to stack with other colanders in the same series for compact storage.
