This stainless steel cup is part of the Tsubame Polishing Factory series, made by metal-polishing specialists working in small workshops in Tsubame, Niigata. The exterior is hand finished to a deep mirror shine, while the inside carries a fine hairline texture designed to help poured beer form a creamier head. Stainless steel resists warming back up once chilled, so the cup suits cold drinks well, and its cool surface also gives a visually chilled look. The rim is polished smooth for a comfortable feel against the lips.

The cup holds 340 ml (11.5 fl oz) and measures about 77 x 88 mm (3 x 3.5 in), weighing 100 g (3.5 oz / 0.22 lb). Made in Japan.
