This Tsubamesan pot set from Wahei Freiz brings a clean, plain stainless steel look to the stovetop. With no fluorine coating to wear or peel, the pots resist chipping and rust over years of use, unlike pans with a non-stick finish.
Each set includes stainless steel pots, a lid sized to fit them, and a phenolic resin handle that attaches to carry a pot and detaches when you set it down. Use the pots for simmered dishes, boiling, miso soup, and stews on gas or induction (IH) cooktops.
After use, the pots nest inside each other for compact storage. The Tsubamesan series comes from Tsubame in Niigata, a town with centuries of metalworking history that grew into Japan's largest housewares production area.
This set is offered in a 2-piece or 4-piece pot size, with a choice of standard, steamer stand, or steamer stand and basket configurations.
