This cutlery set is part of Wahei Freiz's Tsubamesan series, named for Tsubame Sanjo in Niigata, Japan, a region with a long history of metalworking and tableware production. The series was created as a tribute to the craftspeople who built the area's reputation for fine tableware.
Each piece is made of stainless steel in a soft lilac color, with a satin finished handle for a comfortable grip and a mirror finished bowl or tines for a smooth feel against the mouth. The handle carries the Tsubamesan mark.
Depending on the set size, the pieces included are a combination of coffee spoons, forks, and in some sets a butter knife, making these sets a convenient choice for everyday use or for serving guests.
This listing is offered in 6, 9, 11, 13, 15, and 19 piece sets. Made in Japan.
