This mini tabletop pot from Wahei Freiz's Vegipot series is shaped like a cabbage, one of several vegetable designs in the lineup that also include tomato and pumpkin. The rounded form doubles as a serving piece, so the pot can go straight from the stove to the table.
Sized for one to two servings, it suits individual hot pots or everyday cooking. The interior has a fluororesin coating that resists sticking and is easy to wipe clean, and the pot works on gas stoves as well as induction (IH) cooktops.
At 660 g (23.3 oz / 1.46 lb), it is sturdy yet easy to bring to the table like a dish, and it can be used year-round for a one-person hot pot or as a small saucepan for daily meals.
