This Wazaippin frying pan from Wahei Freiz is made in a Japanese factory using gravity die casting, in which molten aluminum alloy is poured into a die using only its own weight. Skilled craftspeople finish each pan by hand, giving the cast aluminum body resistance to warping and long term durability.
The body's natural crystalline structure retains heat well, so it spreads evenly across the pan's consistent wall thickness and helps lock in the flavor of pan fried, seared and grilled dishes. The rim is made thicker to resist warping, while the sides are kept thinner to reduce overall weight.
The interior has a nonstick fluorine resin coating for easy food release and simple cleanup, the exterior has a polished finish, and the handle is phenolic resin.
This frying pan is available in four sizes, from 20 cm to 28 cm, so you can choose the size that best fits your cooking needs.
