This anodized aluminum kettle is part of Wahei Freiz's Wazutsumi series. The anodized aluminum alloy conducts heat well, so water comes to a boil quickly, and the light weight makes it easy to pour.
It is handy for boiling water for tea or for simmering roasted barley tea (mugicha). The anodized surface also helps resist scratches for long term use.
This kettle is for gas stovetops only and is not designed for induction (IH) cooktops.
It is offered in three sizes, and the largest size is also available with a strainer insert, useful for brewing tea blends.
