This anodized aluminum kettle from Wahei Freiz's Wazutsumi series conducts heat well, so water comes to a boil quickly. It is handy for boiling water for tea or for simmering barley tea (mugicha), and its light weight makes it easy to pour.

It measures 26 x 23.5 x 19.5 cm (10.2 x 9.3 x 7.7 in) and weighs 590 g (20.8 oz / 1.30 lb), with a full capacity of about 3.3 liters (3.5 qt) and a recommended fill level of about 2.3 liters (2.4 qt). The anodized finish helps resist scratches.

This kettle is for gas stovetops only and is not designed for induction (IH) cooktops.
