This anodized aluminum kettle from Wahei Freiz's Wazutsumi series conducts heat well, so water comes to a boil quickly. It is handy for boiling water for tea or for simmering barley tea (mugicha), and its light weight makes it easy to pour.

It measures 27.5 x 24.5 x 21.5 cm (10.8 x 9.6 x 8.5 in) and weighs 490 g (17.3 oz / 1.08 lb), with a full capacity of about 4 liters (4.2 qt) and a recommended fill level of about 2.8 liters (3 qt). The anodized finish helps resist scratches.
