This rice ball shaper from Yamako is made of hinoki (Japanese cypress) wood and is designed for pressing cooked rice into neat triangular onigiri shapes.
Simply press cooked rice into the holes to shape it, then lift it out to release a clean, evenly formed rice ball. Some versions come with a base board for added support while pressing, while others include a pusher that helps press the rice firmly and release each finished shape.
Choose from 2, 3, or 5 hole versions, available as a standard shaper or with a base board or pusher included.
