Yamako Wide Hot Towel Dish for 4 to 5 People

This hot towel dish from Yamako is sized to hold rolled hot towels, or oshibori, for 4 to 5 people at once. It measures 19.2 x 12 cm (7.6 x 4.7 in), a wide, shallow shape that lets several rolled towels sit side by side.

It is commonly used at restaurants and homes in Japan to serve guests a hot towel before or after a meal.

This dish comes in two wood finishes: natural keyaki (Japanese zelkova) wood, or cedar with a yakisugi, or charred, finish that gives the surface a dark, textured look.
