Yaxell Kids Safety Knife & Cutting Board Set

This children's knife and cutting sheet set from Yaxell is built with safety in mind. The blade has a fine serrated edge, so it will not cut when simply touched; it is meant to be used with a back and forth sawing motion to cut foods such as onions and potatoes.

All of the knife's corners are rounded, so there is less risk if it is dropped, and a star shaped thumb button on the handle guides the thumb into place so a correct grip can be learned naturally.

The set includes a compact, thin cutting sheet with measurement markings to use as a cutting guide, making it suited to a child's first cooking experience. The knife is 20 cm (7.9 in) long overall, and the cutting sheet measures about 21.5 x 15 cm (8.5 x 5.9 in). Made in Japan.

We offer this set in two patterns: Princess and Cars.
