This Yoshikawa yukihira pot is made in Japan from 21Cr stainless steel, chosen for its resistance to corrosion. The pot has a pour spout on each side of the rim, so it can be poured from easily whether you are right handed or left handed. It can be used on both gas and induction (IH) stovetops.
This size has a diameter of 15 cm (5.9 in) and a brim-full capacity of about 1.3 liters (1.4 qt), a useful size for small sauces, blanching vegetables, or a single serving of soup.
