Yoshikawa Square Frying Skimmer (Kasuage) YJ3765

The Yoshikawa YJ3765 is a square frying skimmer (kasu-age) made from 18-8 stainless steel, part of the Ryori no Iroha line. Its square shape is designed to reach into the corners of square frying pots, so you can scoop up fried bits that a round skimmer would miss.

The mesh scoop includes a pocket that collects loose fried crumbs and batter bits as you cook, keeping your frying oil cleaner while you work. It measures 26.5 x 11 x 5 cm (10.4 x 4.3 x 2 in) and weighs 48 g (1.7 oz).

Made in Japan, this skimmer is a practical tool for anyone who fries food in a square-bottomed pot.
