This Yoshikawa colander is made of 18-8 stainless steel, a material that resists picking up colors and odors from food. Its rectangular shape is designed for draining washed vegetables, fruit, noodles, and other everyday ingredients.
Each size is designed to pair with a separately sold side dish stocker or food storage container of the matching size, so drained food can be stored right in the same container it was rinsed in, without transferring it elsewhere.
