Yoshikawa Suiro Stainless Steel Draining Mesh Insert YJ4056

This stainless steel mesh insert is designed to be used together with Yoshikawa's Suiro deep bowl for draining washed vegetables and fruit. Set inside the bowl, it keeps food lifted above any water that collects at the bottom, which is useful after rinsing ingredients for a salad or similar dish.

The rim of the mesh is wrapped on both the top and bottom edges so it will not scratch the inside of the bowl. It measures about 11.2 x 11.2 x 0.7 cm (4.4 x 4.4 x 0.3 in) and weighs about 60 g (2.1 oz). It is made of 18-8 stainless steel and made in Japan.
