Aderia Footed Beer Glass Fuji Moon Rabbit Design 6848

This footed cup from Adelia uses the traditional sometsuke decorating technique called fukizumi, in which cobalt pigment is sprayed on like a mist to create a soft, shaded pattern. Mount Fuji and a moon and rabbit motif, both classic subjects for this technique, have been recreated with modern printing and transferred onto the glass.

The cup stands about 11.5 cm (4.5 in) tall with a mouth about 5.3 cm (2.1 in) across and a base diameter of up to 7 cm (2.8 in), and it holds 210 ml (7.1 fl oz).
