Aderia Fuji Moon Rabbit Frosted Glass Tumbler 6847

This tumbler is decorated using fukizumi, a traditional technique for decorating porcelain in which cobalt pigment is sprayed on like a fine mist to create soft, shaded color. Since ancient times, the auspicious motifs of Mount Fuji and a rabbit on the moon have been popular subjects for this technique.

This design has been recreated using modern methods and applied to glassware. The tumbler measures about 10.7 x 5.9 x 5.9 cm (4.2 x 2.3 x 2.3 in), with a rim diameter of about 59 mm (2.3 in) and a height of 107 mm (4.2 in), and holds 360 ml (12.2 fl oz).
